Cloud Temple, a leading player in the trusted cloud sector recognised by ANSSI, is presenting a PaaS offering based on Red Hat OpenShift for the French market, where the expansion of trusted cloud services catalogues is a key expectation.
To fully play its role as the guarantor of Europe's strategic autonomy, the trusted cloud needs to offer a sufficiently broad and competitive ecosystem of services. On its SecNumCloud-qualified cloud infrastructure since 2022, Cloud Temple is continually developing new trusted technology building blocks that will enable it to respond to all the digital transformation strategies of businesses and organisations.
With Red Hat OpenShift, the industry's first hybrid cloud application platform powered by Kubernetes, Red Hat is an essential part of Cloud Temple's PaaS strategy.. The collaboration is based on industrial synergies between the two players: the use of Red Hat OpenShift for the SecNumCloud IaaS trust foundation will enable the production of a managed OpenShift trust PaaS before the end of 2023, with ANSSI qualification expected in the first quarter of 2024.
The Temple Cloud offering based on Red Hat OpenShift meets a growing market need. Expectations are high, both for public-sector players obeying the State's "Cloud at the centre" doctrine, for operators of vital importance (OIV) and essential services operators (OSE), and for businesses concerned about the sovereignty of the hosting of their sensitive data and applications.
With this new PaaS offering, Cloud Temple is considerably extending the benefits of SecNumCloud qualification, which remains a very difficult benchmark to achieve. In particular, businesses and organisations will be able to modernise their existing applications with an open source solution, so as to gain greater agility, reduce the infrastructure's environmental footprint and optimise operating costs.
In addition, the migration of native cloud applications developed on OpenShift to the trusted cloud can be facilitated, as can the implementation of hybrid strategies combining on-premise infrastructures, sovereign cloud and public cloud.
The Cloud Temple PaaS based on OpenShift will also enable publishers to facilitate the technological continuity of their native cloud solutions, constituting a decisive step towards trusted SaaS offerings.
We are proud that Cloud Temple has chosen Red Hat OpenShift to support its managed services offering and provide its customers with a more reliable and easily accessible open source reference platform in a trusted cloud. Our collaboration is in line with current market needs, as companies' digital transformation strategies evolve.
Offering a trusted PaaS service is an essential building block in digital transformation, and we're delighted to be partnering with Redhat, a leader in open source. Our customers, both public sector bodies and private companies, are expressing very strong demand for a containerisation offering that has been SecNumCloud-qualified by ANSSI. This offering is one of the three essential pillars that we are currently deploying, along with hardware cryptography and object storage.
