The CloudOps engineer operates within facilities management, as part of a service squad.
Their main role is to manage a customer's IS in the Cloud. They must have sound technical knowledge (Azure, AWS, GCP and infra as code) and be able to support customers in their transition to Hybrid Cloud architectures. He or she will ensure the security, availability, speed and reliability of the information system, while seeking to offer resources that are easily adaptable to the operational needs of organisations.
Objectives
1. Administering and maintaining infrastructures with high availability constraints
- Diagnose, resolve and analyse escalated incidents across all environments
- Support for deployment environments in public clouds and CI/CD tools
- Participate in migration or integration projects
- Implementing public cloud services via infra as code
- Supporting the implementation of monitoring for any service set-up
- Set up automation of public cloud services using Ansible and Terraform
- Drafting, proofreading and validating technical documentation (DAT, DEX).
- Work with the team to ensure compliance with SLA/KPIs and make suggestions for improving the quality of the service provided
2. In-house consultancy and cross-functional activities
- Helping to quantify project workloads
- Be able to advise a technical or non-technical contact on IS components
- Take steps to industrialise, standardise and automate recurring procedures (or actions)
- Provide technical support and make proposals for continuous improvement
- Participate in Guilds (e.g. Infra as Code)
- He takes part in his squad's morning meetings
Training and experience
- Higher education (BAC+4/5), from an engineering school or equivalent,
- You will have successful technical experience in a digital services company, preferably in a context involving
outsourcing.
Skills required :
- Public cloud: Azure, AWS, O365 or GCP
- System: good knowledge of Linux/Windows
- Scripts: Python or PowerShell
- Automation: ansible, terraform, kubernetes, ci/cd knowledge (gitlab/github, or azure devops)
- Virtualisation: Vmware
- Languages: A good level of technical English is required.
- Network: Good knowledge, ability to make proposals, safety awareness
