Research and Development Engineer (M/F)

Cloud Temple is offering you the opportunity to join its teams as a Research and Development Engineer.
The team's main mission is to develop Cloud Temple's internal tools.

Mission statement: 

As an R&D Engineer, you will be responsible for developing Cloud Temple's internal tools.
You will be involved in every stage, from software creation (analysis, design, programming and testing) to maintenance:

• Identify & analyse user needs
• Defining technical solutions
• Create prototypes (Beta versions, POC)
• Programming the final software solution
• Create technical documentation and installation guides (in French & English)
• Ensuring that the product works properly (corrective and/or upgrade maintenance)
• Improve existing software (according to user needs)
• Train users and provide technical support

Skills required: 

• Qualifications: BAC +5, Engineering school (or equivalent)
• Expected experience: 2 to 5 years in development

Tools to master : 
Programming languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, Python, Go
DevOps: Git, GitLab (CI/CD), Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube, Trivy, Azure DevOps, JIRA
Cloud: VMWare, AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform
Project management: Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, DevSecOps)
Data : PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis
Architecture: Micro-Services, Serverless, Service-Oriented, Layered

Expected experience : 2 to 5 years in development

• Autonomy: knowing how to search for information/solutions
• Organisational skills: knowing how to prioritise and reorganise in the event of changes or developments
• Analytical skills: Identifying and analysing user needs and choosing the right solution
• Speed of execution: iterative & incremental delivery of solutions
• Interpersonal skills: knowing how to work in a team & with users (CT employees and end customers)
• Ease of adapting to change: being able to accept change, having a culture of change as part of an empirical approach
