Job description

As part of a service team and reporting to its Operations Team Leader, you will be responsible for the stability and quality of the service provided to our customers, working in a demanding environment in terms of security and availability. You will also be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance and evolution of our applications and cloud services.

MISSIONS :

Main responsibilities

  • Design, development and maintenance of our platform and deployment pipelines.
  • Active participation in innovation projects and the digital transformation of services.
  • Day-to-day work on the financial optimisation of public cloud resources (FinOps).
  • Proactive management of production incidents, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective solutions.
  • Managing and anticipating the risks associated with changes in production, while ensuring that service levels are respected.
  • Contributing to our technical knowledge base, facilitating information sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to a proactive approach to improving DevOps processes and tools.
  • Helping run teams to develop their skills through training and day-to-day support.
  • Support for dev teams to facilitate regular production releases and optimise delivery processes
  • Participating in the Build to Run process as part of our customers' transformations and helping the SDMs to validate this process.
  • Improved monitoring of environments and applications to ensure their availability and performance.
  • Development of scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
Profile required

Technical skills : 

  • Solid knowledge of IT architectures, UNIX/Linux systems and IP networks.
  • Advanced skills in virtualised infrastructure (VMWare, Hyper-V)
  • Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash, Powershell, PHP, Go etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Git, CI/CD (GitLab) and Docker tools
  • Knowledge of at least one IAC technology such as Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, and Terraform
  • Expertise in monitoring and managing the performance of IT services.

Language skillsFluency in written and spoken English and French.

Expected experience:

  • Significant experience (minimum 10 years) in production engineering and cloudOps.
  • Good knowledge of public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), experience with supervision and monitoring technologies (Nagios, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)

Areas of expertiseThe following skills are required: knowledge of DevOps practices for Cloud Native applications (ideally with Kubernetes), a scripting or programming language, at least one as-code infrastructure technology.

Expected skills :

Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adaptability and strong organisational skills.
